Infinity Collection Pendants

Serra meets Yayoi in this new lighting collection which explores the yin/yang aspects of all lighting design. How does the design hold up as an unlit object? How does the form change when lit? The answers are as infinite as the light reflected in Infinity’s interiors.
Infinity abolishes the line between object and environment. The lightweight qualities and modern silhouettes of the fixtures in the Infinity collection create two distinct looks in a given space. Unlit, the geometric solids shapes are sculptural volumes that reflect the surrounding environment in their mirrored surface. Lit, the volume of the fixtures melts away to reveal a pattern of infinitely reflected bulbs that spread out into virtual space. The patterns and sense of depth shift and change as the viewer moves around the piece and approaches it from different viewpoints.
